Chamber Ensemble

Drop in Class

Class held the first Saturday of month.

10:00-11:30am
$40 per class

Our drop-in Chamber Ensemble offers young musicians an enriching experience where they can develop their musical skills and enjoy the camaraderie of playing in an ensemble without the pressure of auditions or time commitment of a rehearsal schedule. In this group, our young musicians learn the importance of listening and counting rhythms as each instrument contributes to the collective sound. During each class, students are introduced to a new piece of music, challenging them to expand their repertoire and musical understanding. Students will practice coordinating scales and rhythm exercises to develop their understanding of the new piece and the music theory to perform it. By the end of each session, the group performs the newly learned song, providing an immediate sense of accomplishment and joy. The small group setting allows for personalized instruction, helping each child to refine their technique and grow as a musician. This dynamic approach not only enhances their individual abilities but also builds confidence, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the joy of making music with others.
